How Does DSL Work?

The Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) technology is the ultimate method of Internet connectivity, offering customers a consistent, high speed and cost effective way to optimize usage of the Internet and all services including social media mobile applications (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest…) multimedia, data, music, heavy downloads, online gaming and much more ... DSL technology uses the existing telephone copper wire line and targets residential, and corporate customers. It allows you to talk on the phone and use the Internet on the same line, and do both things at the same time!

DSL Availability

The DSL service will be subject to coverage availability. Sodetel will conduct a survey to ensure that your area is served and we will notify you of the result.

Splitter

A splitter is a frequency filter that separates the high frequencies used for sending and receiving data from the low frequency range used for voice. These high and low frequencies are transmitted at the same time. Most DSL technologies now require that a splitter must be installed before the CPE. A splitter or filter has to be installed on each phone jack.
